The Internal Assessment and External Assessment form the basis for grading student performance in each paper. The passing minimum in External Assessment is 28/70 while in Internal Assessment is 12/30

The affiliating university conducts an end semester written examination in each semester. Each of the university question papers carries 70 marks .

Internal evaluation is a kind of continuous assessment for total 30 marks that includes a written test for each paper centrally administered by the college. Besides, an assessment of accepted innovative components such as a seminar, term paper, project, assignment, power-point presentation, objective test, regular attendance, participation in classroom activities etc. or a combination of the above, as decided by the department concerned .
